I've been on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster over the last 3 days and am absolutely exhausted.
I will be announcing the winner to the giveaway later on today but despite having multiple Korea posts half written, I'm afraid I haven't had the energy to finish any in time for today. Instead I will direct you to our new 'About' page and if you haven't already seen it, the index of my wedding.
This afternoon I am meeting Roz for some good old comfort food for lunch, mac n cheese at Sloans, and a proper catch up. Later this evening, I will be enjoying a much needed back, neck and shoulder massage (the voucher hubby gave me for my birthday). I will hopefully have a bit of time to sit down and write a few more posts about Korea too.

Oh just let it all out. I hope you will feel better, and that hanging out with Roz and massage will help. Sometimes you need a sad day or two, and that is fine.
ReplyDeleteJust lit a (green) candle for you. Sending good thoughts your way.
Don't put pressure on yourself to write for the blog if you don't want to - it's supposed to be fun not a chore. We'll read and love anything you write.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your massage. What a lovely gift from your hubby - you've got a good one there.
Xxx
What Esme said!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog but only write as much as you don't feel pressured or makes you happy. I'll still read if it's only one post a month, or one a year.
Rejuvenate! Sending love and calm. :) xxx
Please don't stress about keeping up with the blog, like esmewins & Katylkh said it's meant to be fun! We'll still be here in a day, a week, a month or a year! Take as long as you need to re-charge. Your honesty is so refreshing, hope the cause of the stress is quickly & happily resolved X
ReplyDeleteReally sorry to hear you're going through a rough time. Please don't feel as if you have to put on a 'happy face' for us or pretend to be upbeat, strong or positive if you aren't. Hoping things will resolve themselves and life will once more be on the up.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, mmmmmm mac and cheese. (Until very recently I thought this was a reference to burgers, doh!)
As all the other ladies have said don't stress about the blog, it is meant to be fun so if you are not feeling it for a few days then don't worry, everyone will be here for you no matter what.
ReplyDeleteHope your massage and mac & cheese have helped cheer you up a little.
Massive hugs xx
Thank you all for your amazing support! Again!
ReplyDeleteI am feeling like a different person after a day off and lunch with a friend. My massage was exactly what I needed, she even commented on how stressed I was as she could tell from my tense muscles. I don't know if it was just because I've never truly needed a massage before or if she's just THAT good but it was the best massage I've ever had! I can feel the difference already! xx
Glad you are already feeling better - but never feel you have to put the blog before your own wellbeing xx
